SOUTHCOAST SIMPLICITY

New England Simple Living Solutions

ABOUT

Welcome to Southcoast Simplicity! I’m Mary Elizabeth I’m a wife, mom of three, lover of simplicity, old home decor and good old swamp Yankee sarcasm. My family and I live in a New England style Cape home built in 1850. Our home has an unlimited amount of projects on the to do list and is filled with inherited inventory from my family that for many years paralyzed me with stress and anxiety.

My goal is to provide inspirational content to others that appreciate the labor of love that goes into owning older homes. I also hope to share simple living solutions that I have implemented and learned on my journey healing from the experience of loss, grief and years of living in complete chaos. Years spent trying to juggle work, kids, and sick loved ones and the immense overwhelm of acquiring lifetimes worth of inventory and memories from family members that have passed.

To the overwhelmed moms and caretakers looking for solutions to simplify life or those that have experienced loss and have now inherited a lifetime of inventory I hope you will join me as I continue to sort through my own inherited inventory, heal from grief and loss, and simplify my old home so I can provide my family with the gift of faith and simplicity in a world full of distractions.

Thank you for stopping by,

Mary Elizabeth
